As a specialty toy store, Child's Galaxy maintains the ability to dedicate time and effort to our web pages that is rarely matched
by the online toy industry. In turn, the standard images/descriptions provided by manufactures for their products are altered, customized
and enhanced by Child's Galaxy for exclusive use in our web pages. It must be recognized that basic item details or Brand catch
phrases/descriptions will always be present amongst the internet community offering the same products. However, once these areas
are easily filtered, our self customized descriptions and enhanced wording is clearly displayed and recognizable.
Child's Galaxy also maintains great efforts to ensure our enhanced images and customized product descriptions remain exclusive to
our web pages as intended. Although the overwhelming majority of companies/individuals in our toy industry operate professionally
run websites in good faith, there are those that choose to simply copy paste and/or use a slightly altered version of images and
descriptions from other sites. As a result, Child's Galaxy has researched, created and initiated our Anti-Plagiarism Strategies (A.P.S)
within selected web pages on our site. Although initiated Sept 25th 2006, all pre-dated occurrences will be identified and cylced through the process.
The Child's Galaxy A.P.S incorporates a pro-active process that will effectively Detect, Track and Defend our product images and
descriptions against online plagiarism. Our A.P.S can included, but not limited to, the use of professional services to keep up to date
on industry Technologies/Software used to Track and Detect online plagiarism. The submission of our web pages to professional
archiving services for a record of reference as to the time/date/content on our pages. This allows documented evidence of the original
source of the images and descriptions, and in turn, the production of pre-dated proof becomes the responsibility of the offending web site.
The use of Internal resources and external services to regularly crawl the Internet and locate any/all websites that may contain matching
use of our text descriptions, images, HTML code for review of intent.
All sites that have been identified as knowingly participating in online plagiarism against our web pages will be met with a documented
and systematic process that can include, but not limited to, proof of the abuse through the use of International Internet Archive records,
notices of Intent to the abuser's web site ISP / Web Hosting Company for intervention, as well filing a notice of Digital Millenium
Copyright Act infringement with all major search engines where deemed appropriate.
