Ordering Options |
|
Secure web site purchasing - Child's Galaxy
has researched and acquired the services of one of the industries safest and secure shopping carts. (see Payment Provide)
- Add selections to
your secure shopping cart directly from our web site. Select
"Continue Shopping" as needed or "Check Out" to complete your purchase.
- Complete
the secure check out form with your credit card or e-check
information, along with your delivery address and any other required fields.

Successful purchases receive confirmation through email along with an on-line
receipt for reference.
Off line ordering - Child's Galaxy is pleased to accept
off line orders and payments through the mail. All our off line orders receive the same attention
and quality service as our online purchases.

Record the "Item #" for the products you would like to purchase. These are displayed on every
page in the Products Details section.

Send an email to Child's Galaxy at customersuppport@childsgalaxy.com with the items and quantity
of each you would like to purchase. This email will require a valid return email address and contact name.

Child's Galaxy will create and send (within 1 business day) a customized invoice by email. This invoice will include
all the information related to your order.

Simply print a copy of this invoice and include it with your cheque or money order. Upon receipt, Child's Galaxy
will send a "Receipt of Payment" email with the scheduled processing dates of your order.

Visa, Master Card, Discover, Amex :
Processed safely and securely through Paypal, this is the
quickest method to complete your order. Payment is
transferred instantly to Child's Galaxy and your order
is processed the following business day.
e-Check : Processed
safely and securely through Paypal, this
is the quickest non-credit card method to complete
your order. Payments are held directly by Paypal until
cleared (typically 4 business days) and then transferred
to Child's Galaxy. You order is then processed the following
business day.
Money Order: This is the quickest off-line
method to complete your order. Once your payment is received
it will be deposited the following business
day. Money Orders are held for a period of 5 days prior to processing. Once the hold time
has passed, your order is processed the following business
day.
Check : Once your payment is received
it will be deposited the following business
day. As the standard, a period of 10 days
is required to allow funds to clear. Once the hold time
has passed, your order is processed the following business
day.
Our mail is received through the use of a P.O. Box service. In the event the buyer would like to
forward a payment using a service with restrictions on P.O. Boxes deliveries, we will
be pleased to assist. Simply contact us and we will promptly provide an alternate address used for
our business deliveries. The opportunity for the buyers choice of carrier* to drop off and obtain a
signature will be available.
Please note: Child's Galaxy can not be responsible for any lost,
misdirected, delayed, non-received payments or any fees such as stop payment or cancellation. The
buyer will need to work directly with their choice of carrier* for any resolution.
*Choice of carrier refers to the method the buyer has chosen to send payment such as regular post, express post, FedEx, UPS etc...

Paypal: We have selected to use one of the safest & secure
payment providers in the industry. Founded in 1998, Paypal is located in San Jose, California with a service
record of 150 million account members around the world. Providing Military Grade Encryption, Paypal utilizes
one of the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention system and incorporates Secure Sockets Layer protocol
(SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Shopping Cart: Safe, secure and free to use by adding, removing and
updating the items in your cart as often as needed. When your ready to purchase, simply proceed to check out.
Paypal will require the use of cookies to properly identify and retain the items placed in your shopping cart.
Cookies are small text files (usually less than 1K in size) that web sites send to your computer's hard drive
as a sort of an ID (identification badge). These are common requirements in the industry when using a
secure web site and are not exclusive to our payment provider. Your computer's and/or browser's help options can assist
you with enabling this feature.
Shopping Cart Trouble Shooting: Access to the payment process is
obtained through a separate browser window to a safe and secure site. To access this secure environment,
certain security standards are required in order to allow your web browser's entrance. If these standards are
not met, certain error codes may be experienced. Below are some of the more common messages:

If you are receiving this error message or "page
cannot be found while attempting to access your account", it may be because your web browser's security level
is set too low. For maximum security, simply upgrade your web browser temporarily to support 128-bit encryption.

Your web browser must be configured to accept cookies to access
most secure web sites, including PayPal. Error 3014 indicates that you must enable cookies on your browser.

Not an approved shopping cart user
If you are receiving the error message "The
recipient of this shopping cart link is not an approved shopping cart user." then cookies are not enabled on your
browser. The message is referring to the customer (you) as the recipient and when attempting to identify the required
cookies for a secure transaction, can not recognized your browser. Your computer's and/or browser's help options can assist
you with enabling this feature.

Shipping and Handling Fee |
Flat Rate Fee -
we have reviewed a number of web site formats used to calculate shipping and handling fees. In an effort to maintain
an easy and consistent shopping experience, we have incorporated a Flat Rate Fee for all our products. Our system is
designed to keep shopping simple while maintaining the same low total price for every visitor.
Each Item will list the Shipping/Handling Fee in the Product Details section. This fee may vary with different items and
will be totaled during the check out process. This flat rate amount is applied on a per: model basis.
For example:

If Toy AAA is listed with a flat rate fee of $5.95. A total shipping/handling of $5.95 is applied during the check out process.

If Toy BBB is listed with a flat rate fee of $4.95 and purchase together with Toy AAA, a total shipping/handling of $10.90 ($5.95 + $4.95)
is applied during the check out process.
Buying More Than One of the Same Item? -
At Child's Galaxy more is better! Since our Quick and Easy flat rate shipping fee is calculated on a per: model basis, buying more
than one of the same item always ships for less. Along with the standard flate rate fee, the product details box will display a More Than One
price for each additional same item pruchase.
For example:

Toy AAA is listed with a flat rate fee of $5.95 and a "More Than One" fee of $0.95. If three (3) of Toy AAA is purchased in the same
order, a total of $7.85 ($5.95 + $0.95 + $0.95) is automatically applied during the check out process.

Toy BBB is listed with a flat rate fee of $6.95 and a "More Than One" is listed as FREE shipping. If nine (9) of Toy BBB is purchased in the same
order, a total of only $6.95 ($6.95 + $0.00 FREE for each additional) is automatically applied during the check out process.
With our Flat Rate system, we eliminate the guess work that may be associated with looking through those % of Purchase charts or a Weight/Size scale.
We remove the need to search through the Zip Code price charts, since we offer all our products at the same total price to every visitor, regardless of where you reside.
At Child's Galaxy, we feel the easiest way for you to calculate Shipping & Handling is to let us do it for you.

Delivery Limitations and Restrictions |
|
To ensure a positive and enjoyable transaction is experience, please ensure
all purchases are done so with an understanding of the below. Unless otherwise
noted in the product listing details, all deliveries are limited to the
following conditions:
- All listings and services are available to US residence only.
- All items are limited to delivery within the 48 contiguous states
- Child's Galaxy can not ship to P.O Boxes or APO/FPO addresses
- Child's Galaxy can not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands
Unfortunately, purchases placed outside of these guidelines can not be processed. Child's Galaxy will promptly notify
the purchaser to allow an opportunity for alternate delivery arrangements. In the event this is unsuccessful,
a prompt and full refund will be issued.

| Consumer Purchase Protection - Credit Card Orders |
|
|
To ensure a risk free shopping experience for our guests, and to support the protection of our legitimate credit card
holders from Internet Fraud, Child's Galaxy may pend a transaction for 48 hours to perform a Purchase Verification (PV)
prior to processing.
This practise would typically not effect the average purchase as it would only be applied towards our high dollar transactions
or when an order presents suspicious and/or conflicting information in relation to the true cardholder or delivery address provided.
This safeguard is in effect to support the protection of all our guests and to discourage unauthorized
activity at our site. Notification of this 48 hour PV delay will be sent to the purchaser.

Shipping and Estimated Delivery |

Online Purchases are collected each business morning by 9:00am (EST) and processed in a Batch form. Payments
received after 9:00am (EST) will be processed promptly the following business day. Our Friday-Saturday-Sunday
purchases are gathered and processed promptly Monday Morning. Statutory Holidays will require an additional day(s)
added to the regular processing time.
Items are prepared, packaged and picked up for shipping within the time listed under the products “Usually Ships” section. Once your
item is picked up by the carrier you will receive a “Confirmation of Shipping” email with your Purchase Order # for reference.
A typical “In Transit” time for delivery will fall within 3 to 4 business days. To estimate the arrival of your package, simply add
this average in transit time to the time listed in the items “Usually Ships” section. For example, an item the ships within 1 to 2
business days can be added to the average 3 to 4 day “In Transit” time to estimate a 5 to 6 business days from the
processing date. Delivery periods involving Statutory Holidays will require additional day(s) added to this time.

| Undeliverable or
Refused Packages |
|
|
On occasions,
packages may be returned by the carrier as being undeliverable. Any
returns resulting from an error by Child's Galaxy and/or the manufacture
will be reshipped at the first opportunity using priority shipping
at no charge to our customer. Depending upon the issue, undeliverable packages
resulting soley from consumer influences, (such as incorrect address or refused packages)
may require additional shipping fees to be paid prior to being re-processed. Orders that experience unsuccessful
attempts to resolve the delivery issue may ultimately need to be closed.
If this occurs, Child's Galaxy will issue a prompt refund for the
full product cost. This refund will include all originally billed shipping
and handling fees up to a limit of $10.00.
Re-Purchase: In the event a re-purchase is
received using the same information from a previously retunred package, we request the buyer contact us prior to or
promptly after the purchase to remove the areas that contributed to the originally returned package. In the event an order as described above
is received with out contact, the purchase may be cancelled and a full refund with all originally billed amounts will
be promptly processed.
Carriers may deem a package as being undeliverable if
the below is experienced:
Incorrect/Incomplete Address : If an address
contains errors, is missing key information (such as Apt #'s) or
is stale dated (intended recipient has moved) than the package may
be returned as being undeliverable.
Refused by Recipient : If the household refuses the package,
the item will be returned. This often occurs
when the intended recipient feels the package was sent in error or
is unaware of a gift being sent. These situations can almost always
be avoided through the buyer providing advance notice to the recipient
that a gift or delivery is on the way.
Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts : In the event
a high dollar value package has experienced failed attempts to obtain
a signature, the carrier may deem it to be undeliverable. Although
not all packages require signatures, delivery addresses that do not
present a "Safe Drop Off" environment or that appear to have a risk
of non receipt if left with out a signature may be deemed as unsafe
at the drivers discretion. Continued failed attempts to these addresses
will result in an undeliverable package.

Child's
Galaxy Guarantees all the products offered will be received in
100% full working and operational condition. We are readily available
to assist with any concerns that may arise. If (unless otherwise
noted in the Product listing page) within
a 30 calendar day period from the date of delivery the item becomes defective,
Child's Galaxy will be pleased to complete a same item exchange promptly
and professionally. In the event a same item product is not available an
equal or greater value product may be offered. The buyer is under no obligation
to accept the substitute and can request a refund for the original
purchase price less shipping and handling.

| Manufacture Warranty |

It is important to note that in order to honour a manufacture warranty (if any), proof of purchase is required.
This is obtained by the buyer at the time of purchase in the form of the credit card (paypal)email receipt or the .
shipping invoice accompanying the product and/or the purchase order # from Child's Galaxy. It is equally important
to note that manufactures are not in a position to accept direct inquires or requests (such as refunds, other) from
consumers on their products. |

| Exchange Process |
|
A variety
of scenarios can arise during the exchange process. Responsible sellers
will create a well structured process that can be relied upon to provide
all information before hand to help make the experience as seamless as
possible for the consumer.
To support a positive experience, please ensure the below is
followed:
- Defects and malfunctions
are to be reported to Child's Galaxy within 30 calendar days, from
the date of delivery, to activate the exchange guarantee and request
a Return Authorization # (RA#).
- Upon receipt of
the RA #, the product should be returned to the address accompanying the RA# within a 15 days. Since
RA #'s are held to time lines, delays in returning the item may result in the RA #'s becoming expired.

Products returned to with out a valid RA # can not be accepted and will be returned to the consumer at their expense.

The Buyer will be responsible for any shipping costs required to return the product.

The Seller will be responsible for all shipping costs of the replacement product.

All parts and pieces with original, like new packaging must accompany the item.

Returns are carefully inspected by the manufacture. Products with unreasonable missing parts/pieces
or with a "user inflicted defect" may be returned to the consumer.
Please
note: During the exchange process neither Child's Galaxy or the manufacture can not be responsible
for the following:
- Any lost or non receipt
during transit with the buyers choice of carrier*
- Any package received
in a damaged condition that has removed the opportunity to continue with the return process.
The buyer will be required to
follow through directly with their choice of carrier* for reimbursement.
- Any additional shipping
charges that may be required by the buyers choice of carrier* before
releasing the package.
